Jason joined Church in the Canyon as their pastor in July of 2025. He is married to Sarah and busy raising two out of their five kids who are still in the home. His ministry experience extends back to the mid 90’s where he claims he was once cool. They are glad to be back in California after serving churches in North Carolina and Colorado. He is a graduate of San Diego State University and has an M.Div. from Reformed Theology Seminary, and is a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Birmingham Theological Seminary.

In his free time he enjoys any outdoor activity that might get him lost whether it’s kayaking, biking or just wandering.
